A Feast of Culture – Every Gathering is Precious
✨ A Feast of Culture – Every Gathering is Precious ✨
Last week, we had the joy of welcoming two special groups.
From Canada, Ms. Daisy Lee brought 16 friends to the Jeffrey D. Schwartz Jewish Community Center (JCC). Their visit began with a guided tour led by our museum PR, discovering our collections and the stories that carry over a century of Jewish heritage. Afterwards, they enjoyed a Fine Dining luncheon at the Kosher Culinary Lab, where our chef crafted a complete experience—from delicate appetizers, to flavorful mains, and a sweet finale—each course filled with the flavors and heart of the Jewish table.
Meanwhile, Mr. Chi Wai Kit from Hong Kong returned with 13 friends for a special visit.
When he first toured the JCC in April, he was deeply moved by the richness of our culture and collections. This time, he came back to share that inspiration and heartfelt connection with those close to him.
In Jewish culture, we hold dear the value of Kavod (Respect)—the belief that whether it’s a grand celebration or an intimate gathering among friends, every moment together deserves to be welcomed with sincerity and the highest care. True hospitality is not measured by size, but by the meaning and connection each gathering holds.
No matter the scale, we warmly welcome you—Because the most meaningful gatherings are where culture meets the heart.
