A hundred Christian pastors from all over Taiwan to join us in a cultural immersion experience here at the JCC活動

The Jeffrey D. Schwartz & Na Tang Jewish Taiwan Cultural Association - JTCA has always been dedicated to foster cultural education and intercultural dialogues. Yesterday we welcomed over a hundred Christian pastors from all over Taiwan to join us in a cultural immersion experience here at the JCC. Some even hailed all the way from Kinmen for this chance to gain an in-depth understanding of Judaism!

Apart from enjoying our delicate kosher cuisines, learning about Jewish culture, and appreciating our collection in the Museum of Jewish Arts and Judaica, the pastors surprised everyone with an ensemble singing of the Israeli national anthem in Mandarin before the meal! This beautiful moment, needless to say, made the highlight of the event.

In the melody of Hatikvah sang in hundreds of synchronized voices, we felt the harmony that could be created amidst differences in religions, languages, and across borders. The all-too-familiar octaves reminded us of our mission and aspirations at the JTCA, to bridge mutual understanding with people across cultures.
