The JTCA Taiwanese Students Study Tour in Israel finally came to an end.
The JTCA Taiwanese Students Study Tour in Israel finally came to an end.
Looking back, every moment was filled with excitement and left impressionable memories. Now, it’s time to review the itinerary from the thrilling last couple days spent in Israel.
Since our last update, the students went on an exhilarating jeep ride to explore the awe-inspiring Golan heights and the breathtaking Rosh HaNikra grottos.
At AGWA Garden, the students were shown a demonstration of the autonomous vegetable machine operated by artificial intelligence.
They stopped by SeatGeek’s office in Aihud, Israel, the largest ticket searching engine globally.
From learning to harvest from AI-operated machine cases and conversing with the team managing the ticket-selling ecosystem that partners with NBA teams and Broadway theaters, the student delegation benefited from the visits to the pioneering firms across the disciplines in the technology industry.
In the city of Jerusalem, they toured one of the most important memorials in Israel — Yad Vashem: World Holocaust Center, JerusalemYad Vashem. Our students participated in workshops to gain an in-depth understanding of the memorial’s effort to preserve Holocaust history and aim to avoid similarly tragic events in the future.
In the Old City of Jerusalem, they toured the length of the world-famous “Western Wall.” At this most visited site of Israel, the student delegation was moved spiritually by holy place’s invisible strength of faith.
And now, our students have returned home to Taiwan with enlightened minds and beautiful memories.
Not only has this journey in Israel broadened their horizons, it opened their eyes to the distinctive culture, history, innovative startups, and advanced technology in the Middle East country that bears so much striking resemblance to Taiwan.
We wish that they will continue to cultivate with these learnings to grow, progress and spread love and blessings as they stride!
And we'll also keep bring more Taiwanese students on tours for a life-changing experience in the future!
