Global Business Leaders Visit the Jeffrey D. Schwartz Jewish Community Center in Taipei

We were deeply honored to welcome two distinguished guests to the Jeffrey D. Schwartz Jewish Community Center: Mr. Jacob Harpaz, Chairman of the IMC Group, and Mr. Liao Wan-Long, Chairman of the CB-Ceratizit Group. They were personally received by our Chairman, Mr. Jeffrey D. Schwartz.

During this meaningful visit, Mr. Harpaz introduced our Center to Chairman Liao, highlighting it as one of the most special places in Taipei — rich in Jewish culture, and home to Taiwan’s one and only Kosher Culinary Lab — our kosher restaurant.

More than just a dining space, our Kosher Lab represents a bridge between tradition, innovation, and community. We are proud to share this one-of-a-kind experience with visitors from around the world.

This meeting not only brought together two global leaders from Israel and Taiwan, but also reminded us how connection and friendship often begin with a shared meal and a meaningful conversation — right here, at the heart of our community.
