Israeli Knesset Delegation Visits JCC Taipei for Cultural Exchange
We were honored to welcome the Israeli Knesset delegation to the Jeffrey D. Schwartz Jewish Community Center (JCC), where our founder, Mr. Jeffrey D. Schwartz, personally received and guided the guests throughout their visit.
During their stay, the delegation chose to dine with Kosher meals prepared by our Kosher Culinary Lab, allowing them to enjoy familiar and comforting food that was made to the strictest kosher standards even while abroad.
Mr. Schwartz also led the delegation through our museum, with highlights including Taiwan’s only mikveh and the only orthodox synagogue in the country. In a deeply moving moment, the delegates gathered in the synagogue to pray and sing traditional hymns — their voices resonating in this faraway land, creating a powerful sense of connection and spiritual continuity.
This was more than a visit — it was a meaningful affirmation of Jewish presence and heritage on Taiwanese soil.
