Last week, we were honored to welcome distinguished guests from the Rotary Club of Taipei Tunghua to the Jeffrey D. Schwartz Jewish Community Center (JCC) to celebrate a meaningful milestone—their 30th anniversary!
In Jewish culture, there’s a beautiful expression:
"Hachnasat Orchim" (הכנסת אורחים)—“Welcoming guests as if welcoming family.”
We believe that true hospitality begins with the sincere sharing of culture and connection.
At this special luncheon, our guests arrived in elegant attire and also enjoyed an in-depth tour of our Jewish Art and Culture Museum.
Many were amazed by the unique private collections and architectural beauty of the space—walking among the exhibits felt less like a visit and more like a cultural journey.
A specially curated plant-based kosher menu brought together the spirit of kashrut and creative vegetarian cuisine—many guests were surprised and delighted, saying, “Who knew a fully plant-based meal could be so delicious and imaginative!”
