A Night at the Grand Hotel|AIPAC Delegation Welcomed by Taiwan’s Leaders

On October 27, the AIPAC delegation gathered at the Grand Hotel’s Golden Dragon Room, where more than 200 American leaders from politics and business joined friends from Taiwan for an evening of connection and shared values.

President Lai Ching-te and Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim attended the dinner, expressing deep appreciation for AIPAC’s long-standing dedication to strengthening Taiwan–U.S.–Israel relations. In his remarks, President Lai highlighted the enduring resilience of Jewish culture and how it resonates with Taiwan’s own pursuit of freedom and democracy. He also emphasized the importance of Holocaust remembrance and the universal call to “Never Again.”

AIPAC President Bernard Kaminetsky, JCC Founder Jeffrey D. Schwartz, and guests from both sides shared a meaningful night filled with dialogue, blessings, and kosher cuisine — a symbol of the growing bridge between the three communities.

It was more than a diplomatic gathering; it was an evening where friendship, faith, and shared ideals shone brightly in Taipei.
