AIPAC Delegation Enjoyed a dinner in Taipei New Horizon

 

On the evening of October 25, the AIPAC delegation enjoyed a dinner in Taipei New Horizon, co-hosted by the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel and the JTCA Kosher Culinary Lab.

Even though it was an off-site catering event, every detail—from utensils to ingredients—was prepared in full accordance with Kosher standards.

 

The menu featured:

Starter|Pumpkin Velour Soup and Coconut Milk

Main Course|Roasted Chicken with Herbal Sauce / Pan-Seared Sea Bass with Tarp & Bell Pepper Sauce

Dessert|Mango Sago Sweet Soup with Pistachio Baklava

 

Beyond the meal, the evening also included a discussion session, blending dining with meaningful cultural exchange.

 

This event marked the first large-scale kosher catering by the JTCA Kosher Culinary Lab, in collaboration with the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel.

As the dinner coincided with Shabbat, all cooking had to begin only after sunset—a true test of both timing and dedication. Despite these constraints, the team successfully delivered a kosher dining experience that impressed every guest.

 

Many participants who had not pre-ordered kosher meals later asked if they could try the dishes.

Guests from abroad praised the kosher dishes enthusiastically, with many packing them to take back to their hotels —an affirmation that deeply moved our team.

 

It was more than a dinner—it was a celebration of culture, collaboration, and conviction.
