The Jewish Year 5786 Passover is approaching! This year, we are hosting two special Seders at the Jeffrey D. Schwartz Jewish Community Center, inviting you to experience this holiday rich in history and cultural significance.

🌟 April 1, English Session (Wednesday)｜Traditional Jewish Seder

The English session on April 1 is designed primarily for participants familiar with Jewish traditions. The ceremony will be conducted mainly in Hebrew, including prayers and blessings, allowing you to fully experience the sacred process of a traditional Seder. On this evening, you will read the Haggadah, enjoy symbolic festival foods, and follow strict Kosher guidelines. In the glow of candlelight and the sound of prayers, every step carries the stories and blessings passed down through generations.

Schedule:

18:00 – Doors Open
18:30 – Prayer in the Synagogue
19:00 – Seder Begins
 

Important Notes:

Please dress modestly and respectfully for synagogue etiquette
Photography and recording are prohibited during prayers and the Seder
Online registration is required; seats are limited

🌸 April 6, Chinese Session (Monday)｜Cultural Experience Seder

The Chinese session on April 6 welcomes anyone interested in experiencing Passover culture. The ceremony will be led by Rabbi Shlomi Tabib in English, with Chinese translation provided on-site, guiding participants step by step through the symbols and meaning of Passover. In a relaxed atmosphere, you are welcome to take photos, share moments with friends and family, and enjoy a festive dinner prepared by the Kosher Culinary Lab, experiencing both tradition and culture.
