The JCC welcomed a warm and meaningful gathering.

The Taipei International Women’s Club held one of its regular luncheon meetings at the Jeffrey D. Schwartz Jewish Community Center. Alongside updates from the club, a series of talks were thoughtfully woven into the luncheon, allowing conversation and learning to unfold naturally around the table.

A special Jewish culture talk introduced guests to the architectural vision of the JCC, the broader cultural context of Jewish life, and the everyday philosophy behind kosher cuisine. Rather than following a formal tour format, the presentation was integrated into the flow of the meal, creating a setting where cultural learning felt approachable and unforced.

Through this experience, many guests discovered that the JCC is more than a place to visit or dine. It is a space where lectures, dialogue, and shared meals intersect—offering opportunities for deeper understanding and meaningful exchange.

The gathering was further honored by the presence of Mrs. Yukari Katayama, spouse of the Japanese Representative to Taiwan, adding another layer of international connection to the occasion. Women from diverse cultural backgrounds came together in a spirit of respect and attentive listening, transforming a luncheon into a moment of genuine cross-cultural encounter.

At the JCC, cultural education continues to find expression in many forms—within lectures, at the table, and through the shared experiences of community life. Culture does not need to be grand; it can unfold quietly, in thoughtful gatherings and in the conversations that connect us.#

台北國際婦女協會於 JCC 舉辦例行午宴。餐桌之間，會員們分享近況與協會活動，也穿插多場講座，讓交流自然流動，不受形式拘束。

本次午宴中特別安排一場猶太文化講座，從 JCC 建築空間的設計理念談起，延伸至猶太文化的歷史脈絡與猶太潔食的生活精神。講座並未採取制式導覽方式，而是融入用餐節奏之中，使學習成為一種貼近日常的體驗。

當文化不再被框架限制，而是與生活同時發生，理解便顯得更為真實。許多來賓在交流之中發現，JCC 不只是參訪或用餐的場域，而是一個可以透過講座、分享與對話，深入理解文化背景與生活實踐的空間。

本次活動亦迎來日本駐台代表夫人片山優香里蒞臨，使聚會更添國際交流的層次。不同文化背景的女性齊聚一堂，在尊重與聆聽中分享觀點，讓午宴成為一次細緻而真誠的跨文化相遇。

JCC 持續在不同形式中實踐文化教育——或在講座裡、或在餐桌旁、或在一次例行聚會之中。文化不必張揚，它可以靜靜地發生，在人與人之間，在一場用心安排的相聚之中。

On February 4, the JCC hosted the geothermal cooperation signing ceremony between Jin Jin Sheng Energy Service Co., Ltd. and Ormat. This important milestone in Taiwan–Israel energy collaboration unfolded within a cultural setting that added depth to the occasion.

Mr. Aviv Dorn, Head of the Israel Economic and Trade Office in Taipei, attended as a witness, bringing a distinguished yet warm international presence to the ceremony. Leaders from Taiwan’s energy sector gathered not only for professional dialogue, but also to experience the cultural environment of the JCC.

The event was held exclusively at the Kosher Culinary Lab. Following the afternoon signing, the JCC arranged a guided introduction to Jewish culture, beginning with the symbolic meaning of the synagogue space and extending to the historical context of Jewish tradition and the synagogue. The tour served as a cultural invitation—an opportunity for guests from diverse backgrounds to build deeper understanding.

In the evening, guests were served a plated kosher fine dining menu. Around the table, cuisine became more than hospitality; it became a continuation of culture. From ingredient selection to culinary philosophy, the values embodied in kosher practice were shared through experience.

As a platform dedicated to cultural and international exchange, JTCA through the JCC values each cross-industry and cross-cultural encounter.

While an energy partnership was formally signed, culture was also present—quietly witnessing and continuing to strengthen the friendship between Taiwan and Israel.

2 月 4 日，JCC 承辦進金生能源服務公司與 Ormat 的地熱合作簽約儀式。這場結合台灣與以色列能源產業的重要時刻，也讓文化場域成為國際對話的背景。

駐台北以色列經濟貿易辦事處處長 Aviv Dorn 親臨見證，為簽約儀式增添正式而溫暖的國際氛圍。來自台灣能源產業的企業領袖齊聚一堂，在專業交流之外，也走進猶太文化的空間。

活動於猶太潔食實驗室包場舉行。下午完成簽約後，JCC 安排猶太文化導覽，從空間的意義談起，介紹猶太傳統與聖殿文化的歷史脈絡。這段導覽不只是補充說明，而是一種文化邀請——讓來自不同背景的來賓，在理解中建立更深層的連結。

晚間則以位上猶太潔食 Fine Dining 套餐款待與會貴賓。在細緻的餐桌體驗中，飲食不僅是款待，更是文化的延伸。從食材選擇到烹調精神，猶太潔食所承載的生活哲學，也在交流中被看見。

JCC 作為 JTCA 推動文化與國際交流的平台，珍惜每一次跨產業、跨文化的相遇。當能源合作在此完成簽署，文化也同時在場——靜靜見證，並持續連結臺灣與以色列之間的友誼。

On February 24, Four Star International Co., Ltd. held its annual Spring Banquet at the JCC. Nearly one hundred colleagues gathered together, enjoying a relaxed buffet dinner and warm conversations as they welcomed the new year.

The evening opened with an introduction by the hosts, followed by the opening ceremony and company remarks. During the speech, it was noted that despite the uncertainties of the global trade environment in 2025, the company was able to maintain steady growth. This achievement, the speaker emphasized, was made possible by the dedication and perseverance of every team member. The words of appreciation resonated warmly with everyone present.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the “Dedication Award,” recognizing employees who demonstrated exceptional commitment throughout the year. The much-anticipated lucky draw followed, with prizes revealed from fourth prize to the grand prize, filling the room with excitement and applause.

The evening was hosted by JTCA Public Relations Alex and Four Star’s Shirley, whose lively and seamless coordination kept the atmosphere energetic throughout the event. With the support of Founder Jeffrey D. Schwartz, additional games and cash prizes were spontaneously introduced, bringing another wave of excitement and allowing colleagues to relax and celebrate after a year of hard work.

Even after the grand prize had been drawn, the company thoughtfully prepared red envelopes for every attendee, ensuring that everyone could share in the joy and good fortune of the new year.
