Behind the Scenes: How Is Kosher Black-Feather Chicken Prepared?
Last time, we introduced JTCA’s Kosher black-feather chicken 🐔
This time, we’re taking you behind the scenes!
From a fresh black-feather chicken to becoming chicken prepared according to Kosher standards, what exactly does the process involve?
🎥 In this video, we take you behind the scenes of the Kosher slaughtering process.
From the Shochet (Kosher slaughterer) carrying out the slaughter, to carefully inspecting the knife and examining each chicken individually, followed by soaking, salting, and other Kosher preparation procedures — every step matters.
It may look like just a chicken,
but behind it is a dietary tradition that has been passed down for thousands of years.
We also bring this Kosher black-feather chicken to our Kosher Culinary Lab, where our chef prepares it in different ways, giving everyone a chance to experience and learn about Kosher culinary traditions through food.
Want to experience Kosher black-feather chicken for yourself? 🍽️
This time, follow along with the video and see—
how it makes its way from the Kosher slaughtering site, step by step, to our Kosher Culinary Lab.
