Taipei Dialogues with the World

We are honored to be invited to participate in Fu Hsing Broadcasting Station’s program “Taipei Dialogues with the World,” hosted by 陳慈銘 Tina, with JTCA Public Relations representative Alex joining as a guest to share the story of Jewish culture in Taiwan through the spirit of cultural exchange.

The program was divided into three segments:

🔹 05:23–22:15

Alex guided listeners through the Museum of Jewish Art & Judaica inside the JCC. The museum houses nearly 400 precious private collections, all carefully collected and preserved over many years by JTCA Founder Jeffrey D. Schwartz. Through the guided introduction, listeners were able to learn more about Jewish history, faith, festivals, and the story of the Jewish diaspora, while also understanding how the museum has become an important bridge for cultural exchange between Taiwan and the world.

🔹 22:15–26:32

A special blessing segment featured the late JTCA Founder Na Tang performing the Hebrew prayer song 〈Avinu Malkeinu〉, bringing peace and blessings to listeners through her warm and heartfelt voice.

🔹 26:48–47:32

Tina interviewed Alex about his experience working at the JCC, welcoming international visitors and promoting Jewish culture in Taiwan. The interview also highlighted how JTCA Founder Jeffrey D. Schwartz and the late Na Tang personally participated in the architectural and interior design of the JCC, integrating Jewish culture, art, aesthetics, and lifestyle into a unique space in Taiwan. Over the years, Founder Jeffrey D. Schwartz has also continued to use kosher cuisine as a bridge connecting Taiwanese and Jewish cultural exchange.

We warmly invite everyone to listen to this special broadcast episode, and we also welcome you to visit the Jewish Community Center (JCC), explore the Museum, and experience Jewish culinary culture at the Kosher Culinary Lab.
